Very good address but the welcome is not the warmest, too bad it spoils the pleasure. However, the meal is refined and of high quality. The pastries are worthy of a chef. Very cozy and chic place. Nice address.
It is a warm place where it is very pleasant to have a good time, and as a bonus with very friendly owners. If you are looking for a change of scenery, this is the place for you
[Updated 2023] The place still meets my personal criteria, exposed wood, architecture and idyllic landscapes. The room was cozy but, even for a couple, the glass door which separates the bathroom (toilet included) from the living room annihilates any intimate respect. On the other hand, even if I was able to understand that things were not rosy in the team, the welcome at the restaurant and at the reception was cold and sometimes disrespectful. I can understand that a personal situation can erase the smile but responding to customers is a minimum. In addition, the menu is imposed and during check-in, we were not informed that we could request other dishes. It was at the second dinner that we discovered that non-residents were tasting other dishes than ours. The cellar has also undergone small adjustments to make it a lounge (disco, kicker, roulette and games) but apparently, the owner who was supposed to come and open on Saturday evening preferred to stay warm (this is my conclusion, not an official announcement ). In short, I was disappointed or I was too excited to go back, remembering my first visit. 5/5 on the other hand to the young lady (brunette with glasses) who served us at the table, smiling, funny and helpful. [End of update 2024] Absolutely warm, magical and imposing place. The rooms are perfect, the dishes are delicious. The terrace and the view are to die for. To recommend

Very nice, quiet hotel. Superb panorama with very beautiful terrace. Correct services. I recommend the half board breakfast and excellent evening meals with quality local products. Very welcoming and smiling staff I highly recommend.

Thank you for this special moment 🙏🏻 It is impossible to pass through Thannenkirch without stopping at La Meunière. The place is magnificent. A perfect balance between authenticity, class and modernity. The team is adorable, the view over the valley is breathtaking. The wine list is well-stocked, you will find wines from Alsace or elsewhere for all budgets. Discovery of a very beautiful establishment during a wedding. Spacious and well soundproofed room, small downside for the tapestry which is peeling but that also adds to the charm of the place. Very delicious breakfast in a magnificent room. Very friendly FEMALE staff ☺️
